🥂Celebrating 6 Years of Jessi’s: Anniversary Tasting + Party
Tuesday, November 24 · 5 PM · with Stephan of @winemonger

Six years! We can hardly believe it, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

To celebrate, we’re pouring a very special lineup from six special producers, all of whom Jessi has visited over the past few years while traveling with Stephan. These are wines from people and places that are very near and dear to us.

This evening is also a celebration of our partnership with Stephan and Winemonger. So many of the bottles you love on our shelves come to us through this relationship, and we’re thrilled to have Stephan here in person, pouring alongside Jessi and sharing the stories firsthand.

Come taste, enjoy, and raise a glass with the people who make this shop what it is.

Reservations are now officially open! We expect this one to fill quickly, so grab your seats early. 👉 Link in bio.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Something delicious to pour. No alcohol required. 🤍

Our non-alcoholic and de-alcoholised selection is curated with the same care and curiosity as our wine shelves. We’re always looking for thoughtful producers, interesting flavors, and beverages worth sharing.

With Thanksgiving around the corner, we’re thinking about all the people gathered around the table and making sure there’s something special to pour for everyone, whether that’s wine, something sparkling, or something without alcohol.

Come explore the selection, enjoy one here, or take something special home to share.

In May of 2024, Charlie and I visited Cascina degli Ulivi in Piedmont, and A Demûa became one of our favorite wines of the whole trip. We carried a bottle with us for the rest of the trip and flew it home, not knowing if we’d ever be able to get it here in Hamilton. Now we finally have it 🍂

A Demûa 2022 is an old-vine field blend of Timorasso, Verdea, Bosco, Riesling Italico and Chasselas, left on its skins for nine months and made with native yeasts and nothing added. The name means “the enjoyment” in Genovese dialect. It’s drinking beautifully now, but it has the structure to age if you can wait.

Stefano Bellotti made profound, age-worthy wines like this one, and also simple ones for the everyday table. Today his daughter Ilaria carries that philosophy forward.

Chalked on one of their giant barrels (last slide 👋): “The farmer is the freest person there is.”

Cascina’s Semplicemente Bianco and Rosso are in this month’s Explorers Club. Learn more at the link in bio 🍷 We only have a few bottles of A Demûa left, so come grab one in the shop.

🍷 First sip: Ojai Red by Ojai Vineyard

🍇 Fun fact: One of the grape varieties in this blend, Paseante Noir, was bred by UC David for disease resistance, helping support vineyards with less need for intervention.

Curious to try it yourself? Join our Wine Explorer’s Club! And if you’d rather start with a bottle, you can find Ojai Red on our shelves, too.

What. A. NIGHT. ✨

So much love, so much fun, and so many wonderful people coming together to support Emma’s House. What an incredible night for our community.

And WOW — the $1,250 live auction package, featuring a private wine tasting for up to eight with Jessi, paired with a $250 gift certificate from Ember, went for an incredible $2,800!! We’re so thrilled to have been part of raising that for Emma’s House — and I can’t wait to host the winning group at Jessi’s. 🍷

Huge congratulations to Val and the entire Emma’s House team on such a beautiful evening — and thank you for the incredibly important work you do for kids and families in our community. 🤍

Wow, Hamilton—you really showed up for this one. 🍷🇿🇦

What an absolute JOY to host Marelise Niemann of Momento Wines. Marelise is the real deal—brilliant, warm, funny, completely unpretentious, so generous of spirit, and deeply passionate about her work. You all absolutely loved her, and so did we. The room was packed, the questions kept coming, and our little town welcomed her in serious style.

And the wines? Stunning. Momento will absolutely have a place on our shelves, and we can’t wait to keep sharing these bottles with all of you.

Marelise, thank you for traveling all this way and sharing your wines and so much of yourself with us. We are incredibly grateful.

And yes, things got a little weird after the guests went home. 😂

First sip: James Rahn Pinot Gris

No tasting notes or preparation. Just our first reactions!

This is a skin-contact Pinot Gris from Eola-Amity Hills, Oregon. It just landed for our 9/22 Wine Explorer’s Club release!

Not in our club? Good news: there’s still time to join!

Can’t wait? We’ll also have a very limited amount available by the glass until it’s gone. There are only a handful of bottles, so you know the drill.

Sometimes, the bottle itself is the first clue. 🍷🔎

That distinctive shape is called a Bocksbeutel, a signature of Franken, Germany.

Inside? Scheurebe — the grape showcased here as a dry, aromatic white wine that’s a little less familiar and very fun to explore.

This bottle is part of our current Wine Explorer’s Club, featured in our new Adventure Bundle, and also available on the shelf if you just want to grab a bottle and explore on your own.
